A Dozen!

Our 12th lamb was born today! It seems as if Jacob's genes are like an eraser in a paint software program erasing some of the moms' coloring to make the lambs. The only part of Painted Face's facial coloring left on her (ram) lamb is around his eyes. It is so much fun to see how each lamb turns out! And, it's still so amazing to see how even a first time mom like Painted Face isolates herself in a corner to give birth, knows how to clean off her baby, and takes such good care of him. It's still so amazing to see how fast the lambs stand and nurse. It's still so amazing to see how the moms know their babies and the babies know their moms.
