LAMBS!

Well after some sad goodbyes (to a kitten and dogs), we can now say a very happy hello to our first baby lambs born here on our sheep farm!

Congratulations to Jacob and Ewe #28 (Specklie) on the birth of your son, Tips, on Jan. 7, 2018.

...and Ewe #27 (Frecklie) on the birth of your twin rams, Freckled Junior and Tipper Two, on Jan. 18, 2018 (Jacob's birthday!). (See our Sale page for a photo of the moms and babies.)

We've researched what it'd be like to have a lamb born here, on our farm, but it's a different thing altogether to see in person a newborn's tail wiggling furiously as the lamb is successfully getting his mother's milk, to see in person how protective the moms are of their babies, and to see in person how the moms communicate using a different sound with their babies.
