Eulogy

Buddy was the BEST DOG ever! He was likely the most loveable, friendly big galoof out there. He was very talented and smart, but true to his breed, he wouldn't obey orders unless he chose to. Yet he was eager to please and always there to greet us with so much love, always wanting to be near us.

We never saw him sleep - not until the day we found him "sleeping" instead of bounding toward us full of joy and life. We think he saved us from a very venomous snake. Either way, he is no longer here to take whatever of ours he thinks will get us to chase him. He's not here to say a sad good-bye or a cheerful hello each time we pass through our front gate.

Buddy, you are deeply missed!
